This painting came from a photo I took almost 20 years ago at Cape Charles Beach. Ironically I was doing an art show at the time. A catamaran race used the beach as a stopping point. I always thought that it would make a great painting and figured one day I would work on it. A couple weeks ago I was in an art gallery in Rehoboth Beach Deleware and saw these huge beautiful colorful paintings by Maryland digital artist Stephen Harlan.
